The methodology I will adopt during the classes will be communicative with a direct approach, and will have the following characteristics:
- the student will be the main protagonist of the class.
- central role attributed to the student, to his/her communicative needs.
- the study of formal grammar only as a point of arrival in the teaching process
- use of the Italian language at all levels
- use of authentic teaching material
Since there is no standard lesson for my students, it will be convenient, as a first meeting, to define what are the objectives and motivations of the students in order to structure different courses in the teaching of the Italian language. In a second step, it will be my proposal to structure a personalized course according to their needs in order to fully satisfy the desired level of Italian.
