About Shenel
I bring 7+ years of professional experience in statistical data collection, analysis, research, and reporting, currently working as a Research Officer/Statistician at a national tourism authority. I hold an MSc in Data Analytics & Project Management (Distinction) and a BSc in Business Management (Summa Cum Laude), and I work daily with SPSS, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, and advanced Excel — so I teach these tools the way they're actually used in a job, not just how they appear in a syllabus.

My approach is practical, not theoretical. Statistics and data analytics only really click when you work through real data, so instead of lecturing through formulae, I walk students through actual datasets, showing them how a concept applies before we drill it in isolation. I break every topic into small, testable steps, check understanding before moving forward, and adjust pace to the individual student rather than following a fixed script. If someone's stuck on a concept, we slow down and rebuild it from the ground up; if someone's moving fast, we push into applied problems and real tools like SPSS, Power BI, or Excel rather than staying in the textbook.
Lessons typically run 60 minutes, though I can adjust to 90 minutes for exam prep, project work, or dissertation/thesis support where students need more sustained working time.
