About Pooja
I am an occupational therapist, a mentor, a leader, a dancer, a writer, a friend, a colleague, a daughter, a sister, and a girlfriend. I am passionate about helping others by looking at the big picture rather than the minute details. I was a teaching assistant for neuroscience and cognitive interventions while in OT graduate school, and those who learned from me seemed to excel well. As an occupational therapist, I spend every day at work educating my patients about topics related to their health, wellness, and safety at home. I love teaching, and I'd love to teach you!

I like to gauge my students learning styles by having them express their preferences. Some students will hear something once and learn it right away, while others may need 5 examples, a hands-on scenario, and reading material to fully grasp the learning. The more honest the student is about his/her needs and areas of difficulty, the better I can support his/her learning style to ensure success.

I will charge an extra fee for travel if we are able to coordinate an in-person timing that works for both me and the student. I may increase or decrease the hourly rate pending student's level of difficulty with the subject.
