About Animesh
I obtained a doctorate in French Literature under the guidance of the late Édouard Glissant, the leading theorist of creolization (which can be defined as the interaction of heterogeneous cultures leading to something new and unexpected), from the City University of New York. He wrote a preface to my doctoral thesis about creolization in Pondicherry which was published by the French Institute of Pondicherry in 2008. (concealed information)

I teach French by using the target language 100 per cent. The idea is to make the students associate me with just French. This method of complete immersion at times disorients students but that is precisely the objective. The best analogy of this methodology is that you can learn to swim only by swimming.
