About Dr Namita
I am a PhD in Pharmaceutical formulations from ICT, Mumbai, India (erstwhile UDCT) with 16 years of experience in Pharmaceutics-developing novel pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetics formulations. I have industry as well as academic experience. I have worked as a formulation scientist in industry. I have also worked as an Assistant Professor in RGUHS university, Bangalore, India. As an academician, I have taught Pharmaceutic/Formulation and cosmetics subject at both theory and practical level in the (concealed information) D curriculum. I have scientific publications in reputed peer reviewed national as well as international journals including one in American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists Pharm Sci Tech journal which has a good impact factor. My different novel formulation approaches depicted through presentations have enabled me to achieve many best research paper awards at conferences. I have an Indian patent based on pharma formulation development to my credit (Patent No. 249226). I have mentored several students for their Master’s program at the University level and have guided them in their pharma and cosmetics projects. In addition, I have postgraduate diploma in Patent Basics and Introduction to Intellectual Property rights.

My teaching methodology is basically making the students understand the fundamentals by giving suitable examples. I make my sessions more interactive. I focus on the industrial applications of the concepts/ techniques which will help the students to understand the basics.
