About Tyson
My name is Dr Tyson F. Belz. I am a Postoctoral Research Associate of over four years at the Scripps Research Institute, USA. Before that I held a position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Monash University in the Chemistry department. I completed my PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2017, Master of Science in 2012 and Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours in 2009.

Mechanism, acids and bases, photochemistry.
Besides organic chemistry, I showcase some practical example where organic chemistry is used for the design of vaccines against substaces of abuse namely heroin.
