About Kenya
"Writing songs is a craft that requires more discipline than raw inspiration. My BMus from the Queensland Conservatorium provided a rigorous framework for understanding how structure and prosody influence the listener.
After 4 years of experience helping 291 students, I have seen how storytelling in songs becomes much easier when you use a clear motif and theme. I focus on the mechanics of rhyme schemes and meter to ensure your lyrics carry the emotional weight you intended.
Turning abstract ideas into finished songs requires a transition from perfectionism to practical application. I help you develop a strong point of view and consistent perspective in every piece.
Writing to a brief is a vital skill for content creators and working musicians who need results on a deadline. My role is to help you bridge the gap between having a messy concept and holding a final, structured composition. You will soon be writing with the confidence to finish what you start."

"Breaking the songwriting process into smaller, bite-sized tasks ensures that you never feel overwhelmed by a blank page. You can master the balance of verse, chorus, and bridge by focusing on the underlying structure of your melody. I provide feedback on your prosody to ensure your words fit the rhythm of your music perfectly. Working musicians and intermediate producers benefit from this clarity as they refine their personal songwriting style.
We treat the writing process as a series of small, intentional decisions rather than a random act. My BMus training informs how we organize your ideas into a logical, compelling narrative arc.
You will find that defining your point of view early makes the rest of the song fall into place. Finishing a complete song together serves as the anchor for our collaborative sessions. We will refine your work until the structure feels solid, intentional, and ready for the world."
