About Sanya
Hey! I’m Sanya — and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a student of Biomedical Science at the University of Adelaide with a deep passion for learning and teaching. Over the years, I’ve realized that the best kind of learning doesn’t come from just memorizing — it comes from actually understanding, asking “why?”, and feeling safe enough to say “I don’t get it… yet.” That’s the kind of space I aim to create as a tutor. I offer tutoring in: English – From grammar to essays, creative writing to critical thinking Biology & Science – Making cells, systems, and theories make sense Psychology – Breaking down complex ideas into real-life relevance Math – Simplifying steps, boosting confidence, and making it click Whether you’re prepping for exams, catching up on schoolwork, or just trying to stay ahead — I’d love to support you in your learning journey. We’ll go at your pace, tackle the tricky bits together, and maybe even make it fun (yes, even math). Let’s make this make sense — together.

As a tutor, I see my role as more than just delivering information — I’m here to help someone make sense of it in a way that works for them. My personal approach is rooted in empathy, adaptability, and clarity. I always try to meet the student where they are — whether they’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need help breaking things down.
I believe in creating a supportive environment where mistakes aren’t something to be afraid of — they’re stepping stones. I tend to ask questions to understand where the confusion starts, and then tailor my explanation based on that. Whether that means using analogies, visual aids, or step-by-step walkthroughs, I’m happy to adjust my style depending on what clicks for the student.
I also like to help students zoom out and see how what they’re learning fits into a bigger picture — especially if the topic feels abstract. The goal for me isn’t just to help them pass a test (though that’s important!), but to build genuine confidence in the subject.
At the end of the day, tutoring is a collaborative process. I’m not here to talk at someone — I’m here to work with them.

She is an amazing tutor, provides all notes and daily feedback to parents. She also has a psychology background which makes her perfect for students.
Sanya is an awesome tutor. Both my kids, in year 9 and year 6, learn maths with her. She is super hard-working and dedicated in what she does. I 100% recommend her to all students out there.
I am taking sanya services for a long time and have seen firsthand how dedicated and patient she is when it comes to helping students learn. She has a very supportive and encouraging teaching style, which makes students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence.
What I appreciate most about Sanya is that she doesn’t just focus on completing homework — she genuinely tries to make sure students understand the concepts. She explains things in a simple and clear way and adapts her teaching depending on the student’s level and learning style.
I have seen her help students improve not only their academic performance but also their confidence in subjects they previously struggled with. She is reliable, well-prepared, and truly cares about her students’ progress.
I would definitely recommend Sanya to other students and parents looking for a tutor who is patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping students succeed.View more recommendations
