About Raphael
I have specialist experience in Theology and Anthropology. I spent my first year in Cambridge studying Theology, before transferring to the HSPS (Human, Social and Political Science) tripos in my second year, taking the Anthropology and Theology joint-track. In my final year, I specialised in Social Anthropology.
I received a first in my end-of-year exams every year, and topped the Theology and Anthropology join-track cohort in my second year.
I also have A levels in Music, English and RE (all A*), an EPQ (A*), and an Art Foundation Diploma (Distinction).
My academic journey has been driven by a deep love of learning, and an obsession with the art of writing. I am passionate about passing on the skills I have learned to my students, to help them realise their unique intellectual gifts.

I am adaptive to the needs and learning styles of different students. Therefore, the course a lesson takes is largely dependent on you!
I encourage my students to establish a clear agenda that lays out where they need help. I then plan my lessons to address the problems and goals they highlight. This can entail more abstract goals (eg. working on essay writing skills), or more specific goals (eg. improving an assignment).
I am open to tutoring for all ages, in any of: Anthropology, English Literature, RE/Theology (GCSE, A level and Undergraduate level), essay and personal statement writing, spelling, and university admissions (including Oxbridge).
My standard lesson time is one hour.
