About Pumelele
I am an actor and musician. I obtained an International Diploma in Acting (Media Techniques) class of 2016. I train students for both “Acting for TV” and “Acting for Theatre.” I’ve also worked behind the scenes on TV shows like BET Africa’s “The Big Secret” with Khanyi Mbau” amongst others so I also understand what’s needed for TV even though I have more theatre experience than TV when it comes to acting.

My teaching method is quite simple, and can be broken down to three things ; internalisation, improvisation and confidence
Each student must learn how to internalise a characters emotions and make them their own. Only then can they understand the character’s motives and so forth
When the show isn’t going as planned, improvise. One can never be seen as incompetent and lost on set
Confidence. Sometimes even the wrong thing sounds right when said with confidence
