About Daria

I’m a bilingual actor and director with training from the Oxford School of Drama, LAMDA, and RCSSD. I specialise in preparing students for drama school auditions.

I know first-hand how exciting (and nerve-racking!) the audition process can be. That’s why I offer a supportive and practical approach that helps you build confidence, unlock your monologues, and walk into the audition room ready to show your best self. Alongside my own training, I’ve also assisted on audition panels at the Oxford School of Drama, giving me unique insight into what panels look for and how to make a strong impression.

I especially enjoy working with non-native English speakers, helping them overcome language-related insecurities so their individuality and talent shine through. At the same time, I’ve also coached many native English speakers from a variety of backgrounds, tailoring my approach to each individual’s goals and style.

About the lesson

My lessons are all about giving you the tools and confidence to shine in auditions without overwhelming you with unnecessary theory. Each session is tailored to your needs, but typically includes:

Monologue coaching: breaking down text in a clear, digestible way while bringing out the intensity and truth the character calls for.

Voice & speech support: clarity, presence, and power, whether you’re a native or non-native English speaker.

Audition preparation: practical strategies, mock auditions, and tools for handling nerves.

Personalised feedback: constructive, honest, and encouraging, in a welcoming environment.

Most lessons last one hour, online or in person.
