About Mahaan
My fascination with drumming has led me to continuously expand my skill set,
exploring various styles and techniques to deepen my understanding of the instrument. Beyond individual proficiency, I am driven to share my joy and knowledge in drumming with others.
I have played drums in the band Hey So Hungry since 2022, achieving many opportunities to open for touring artists to broaden our audience in Perth. Some of these artists include Thelma Plum, King Stingray, Pacific Avenue, The Grogans, and Perth up and comers Dice and Old Mervs.
I have been awarded a certificate of excellence by WAAPA for Jazz drumming. I have been involved in many bands with my former high school including Jazz band, Senior Band, Senior Orchestra and Senior contemporary band. I have recorded drums on multiple tracks which can be viewed here

I am passionate about inspiring students of all ages to explore their rhythmic potential and developing a deep appreciation for music. I have been recognised for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages growth and confidence in developing drummers.
