About Peter
Hi, drumming is a great exercise , amazing coordination, mood enhancer, rhythm coach and a way to release testosterone. I have been playing for over thirty years, have played in rock , punk, cover, blues, seventies, metal bands. Have taught in private and group sessions here and overseas. Keeps me fit and coordinated and is a great release for frustration. It's not complicated , just coordination and fun.

My teaching method is to keep it simple at the start, not playing exactly as it's recorded, but as you can play it. I teach you how to play realistically to your talent and simple beats, simple tunes, usually tunes that stay in your head and you can play as easy or as complicated as you want. Making it fun and enjoyable. Also setting up kits, setting hi hats, bass drum pedal, Double kick pedal , and most importantly tuning your acoustic drums so you sound and play better to you and your audience,neighbours. Also electronic drums, and how to make a acoustic set into a electronic set. But keeping a simple beat and stamina is the key.
