About Tengle
With a strong academic background and experience working with learners of diverse levels and learning styles, I tailor each session to meet individual needs. I approach every lesson with clarity, patience, and structure, while also creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Some of my qualifications include AIME qualifier, USNCO national finalist, perfect SAT math score, perfect ACT math and science score, 5s on AP Calc BC, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, and AP Biology, former member of the Georgia ARML math team, high school valedictorian, and a current 4.0 GPA at Duke University.

I am very passionate about the subjects I teach, and that enthusiasm drives the way I work with students. I believe that true learning happens when students understand the why behind concepts, not just the what. Rather than simply presenting information for them to memorize, I focus on helping students make sense of the underlying principles, patterns, and logic that connect ideas together. I make personalized lesson plans based on the need, whether that is helping them to understand and work through some homework problems or reviewing an entire unit for a test. I teach both AP Calculus and SAT math, and also any high school level chemistry class and algebra-based physics.
