About Kitty
I’m currently studying Natural Sciences at Durham University, having recently completed A Levels in Biology, PE and Chemistry. I’ve always enjoyed both Biology and PE and would love to help students develop their understanding and confidence in these subjects.
Having recently been through GCSEs and A Levels myself, I understand how overwhelming some topics and exam preparation can feel.
Outside of university, I’m a keen sailor and have competed nationally and internationally, which has taught me a lot about commitment, preparation and working towards goals. I’m approachable, patient and happy to adapt my teaching style to suit each student.

English
I’m a Natural Sciences student at Durham University, with A Levels in Biology and PE, and I offer tutoring for GCSE and A Level students.
I like to make lessons relaxed and personalised to each student, focusing on the areas they find most difficult. I can help with understanding topics, exam technique, revision strategies and working through exam questions, with an emphasis on making sure students understand the content rather than simply memorising it.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, although I’m happy to adapt this depending on the student’s age and needs. As I completed my A Levels recently myself, I have a good understanding of the current style of exams and the challenges students face when preparing for them.
I’m happy to work with students of different abilities, whether you’re looking for some extra support with a particular topic or want to build confidence across the whole course.
