About Kiera

I have recently completed a gap year post A Levels and have just started at Durham University to study Psychology. I have previous experience in tutoring both online and in person, and ensure that my online sessions are no less engaging and exciting as those that take place in person. I am an encouraging tutor who looks to help my students through a step-by-step process and work with them to overcome any hurdles they have in their subject.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on step by step explanation with clear writings and diagrams. I like to use pictures and colour to make the learning experience more exciting for younger children. I like to do small tests during my sessions to ensure the student has absorbed the information and is able to then apply this.

I was Kiera’s Head of House at school and I can report that she is an amazing student and will be an equally great tutor. She is always positive and will boost anyone’s morale and enthusiasm for her subjects, thus improving their learning in leaps and bounds.

I taught Kiera IGCSE English (2018-2020) and A Level English Literature (2020-2022). She is a very able student who is committed, diligent and extremely hard working. Kiera is very personable and works well with everyone. She's a good team player but also very willing to take on a key role and lead by example.
