About Kathi
I am a teacher. I have a bachelor in Early Childhood Education and have been a specialized literacy teacher for the last 7 years working with children of various abilities across Victoria. I am great at building relationships with children and have proven success in making a difference to children's literacy development. Our current school system is geared towards children being fluent in reading by Year 3. Children who fall behind with their reading abilities often fall through the gaps in our education system, which affects them through their entire educational life. Early support is key to better outcomes.

I teach using fun multisensory pathways to help children build the brain connections needed for reading. I work with children at the level they are at building skills in speaking, phonological awareness, listening, writing and reading.
