About Shardene
Teaching has always been a passion for me however due to financial difficulties I didn't get my fair chance to become a Qualified teacher in my country, however I never gave up. The year our world went through the pandemic I realized how students were struggling in my area and even in my family due to schools circumstances changing enormously and affected the students academic abilities. I decided to tutor students during the pandemic via Zoom and eventually Online Teaching became a part of my life. Although I have studied Business Management, I have worked in industries I have never thought I would for example currently I'm working at am Accounting Firm doing Accounting in which forms a part of what I help students with their Math skills. I have done the Tefl course through Tefl Universal in order to be considered as a Teacher across the board. Everytime I prepare a student for his or her exam I feel motivated and seeing or receiving the feedback from parents makes me proud of what I have become.

I focus more on the younger students ages from 10 years and up. In order for my classes to go smoothly I allow them to interact with each other as well it is always good for students hear from their classmates what I have explained, which in effect then gives me a chance to see whether I can amend my methods of teaching. I always keep in mind that the young becomes bored after too much information processed and therefore keep my time teaching minimal and their student to student while I observe more, however to balance my methodology I tend to compare what I have observed in my previous lessons with certain students and amend accordingly. There are days where props are involved all depends on the subject I also make use of games in order for students not to become bored.
