About Alexis
I am a data scientist. I have taught over 20-30 students within the past 3 years on different levels of math. I would say, I am most comfortable with elementary and middle school students but open to other age groups. Algebra is my strong suit. I have taken classes up to Calculus 3.

I try to figure what type of learner my student is first. Everyone learns differently. For example, with a visual learner, I would work more with drawing out our problems and having the student draw out his/her solutions. If the student is better at hearing, I would try different ways of writing out the problem and then speaking it to him or her.
