Economics & Finance University Student and Khan Academy-Trained Tutor Helping Students Succeed from Elementary to High School

Leandra is such a good math tutor! She’s really patient, especially when you don’t get something right away, and she always explains things in a way that actually makes sense. I noticed I started getting better at math pretty quickly. She also makes it easy to talk and ask questions, even if you’re shy like me. I felt way more confident after just a few lessons with her.

Leandra has been working with my daughter for about five months now, and we’ve had such a great experience with her. She’s an incredibly patient tutor and always willing to explain things multiple times until Sophie feels comfortable. From the beginning, she was able to build a strong connection with Sophie and made her feel at ease during their sessions.

We first found out about Leandra through the program offered at Sophie’s school via Khan Academy, and ever since they started working together, we’ve noticed a big improvement. Not only have Sophie’s grades gone up, but she’s also become much more confident in her abilities. We’re really happy with the progress she’s made and definitely plan to continue tutoring with Leandra next year for Sophie’s grade 9 math.
