About Bhumika
As someone who has recently navigated the challenges of IB and now studies Economics at the University of Warwick, I understand what students need to thrive — both academically and mentally. Having scored 41/45 in the IB, with top grades in Economics HL and Mathematics AA HL, I know exactly what examiners look for and how to help students achieve their goals. I offer interactive and structured online lessons in Economics and Mathematics for IB, A-Level, and GCSE students, tailored to suit individual learning styles and academic goals. My teaching approach blends exam-focused techniques with real-world applications, helping students not only understand concepts but also score highly in assessments. Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, starting with a quick recap quiz to reinforce past learning, followed by a concept breakdown, guided problem-solving, and time for Q&A or exam-style practice. I frequently use visual aids, exam board mark schemes, and worked examples, ensuring sessions stay engaging and targeted. I am currently studying BSc Economics at the University of Warwick, predicted First Class, and I graduated with an IB score of 41/45, including a 7 in Economics HL and 6 in Mathematics AA HL. I have also completed finance and consulting internships where I applied quantitative models and statistical tools—experience I bring into the classroom to build intuition and confidence. Whether you're preparing for final exams, tackling IA coursework, or simply aiming to improve your academic foundation, my lessons are designed for students aged 14–19 who want personalised support, strategic exam tips, and a tutor who’s been through it and succeeded.
