About Aditi
I am an undergraduate student at Dartmouth College studying economics! I love working with students and making learning feel less stressful and more enjoyable. I am patient, approachable, and always ready to break things down in a simple way, and I really just want you to walk away from lessons feeling more confident and excited about your ability to progress! I was really involved in tutoring both friends and other students when I was in high school, and I feel that if you can learn to feel safe and comfortable with the learning process, then everything will work out no matter how impossible the situation! I am extremely open and am focused on making anyone I work with feel as comfortable as possible while learning as I believe that the best learning happens when one feels safe to make mistakes! I provide help in all areas of English, for instance reading comprehension, writing skills, grammatical errors, and essay-editing. For English, I can work with all students from elementary school through high school and can especially focus on essay-editing and writing skills with high schoolers. I also provide math tutoring, with expertise in linear algebra, geometry, precalculus, and basic math concepts. For math, I can work primarily with students from elementary school through early high school. What sets my teaching apart is that I do not just teach content, but I focus on strategy and building skills that are self-sustaining going forward. Students learn how to break down complex problems into manageable steps, build great study habits, and learn to become independent!
