Being a student myself, I know exactly what the problem areas are. I believe teaching is not about spoon feeding the concepts. It is about taking a student to a place where they can understand concepts themselves naturally. I try to associate real world examples with the bookish concepts as much as possible so that school students realize what they are learning isn't abstract but simple common sense. Realizing this early will make the rest of their academic career a smooth glide.
