About Angelique
Teaching was something I shied away from as my older siblings were all in education. However, a chance spell of tutoring to help out at my local centre and then substituting at my local primary school propelled me on to a trajectory I would never leave: Teaching. An Ofsted inspector told me this was my calling and I have never looked back.
I have over twenty years of teaching: One year in primary; over a decade in secondary and the rest spread across a variety of alternative provisions and Further Education Colleges. The latter I coordinated the English curriculum across the whole college.
I have a track record of passes above expectation and a of helping students who not get a chance to show their excellence in mainstream education.

I utilise the British National Curriculum across all subjects while incorporating varied and personalised techniques to help students meet their targets and surpass expectations.
MA Education(Psychology), B'ED Education (Hons), Dip. Linguistics and Literature.
Lesson duration: 40 - 60 minutes depending on subject.
Sessions: GCSE English - students unable to access core concepts in mainstream classrooms and those who have faced barriers to achieving a grade 4.
Functional Skills Numeracy & Literacy- apprentices needing support and those wanting to enhance their growing skills.
ESOL for Speakers of another language from EN1 to L2.
