About Courteney
I have studied 3 years of Primary Special Education Teaching and Disability Studies and am deferring my final year until next year to gain employment and work experience. I have undergone 3 teaching placements from Primary to adult years in both Education and Disability fields, and have provided weekly piano lessons to four Primary age students and have achieved highly in my tertiary studies and was selected to join the Golden Key Society in 2016 and 2017 for acknowledgement of my academic achievement.

My teaching method focuses on building and maintaining positive and respectful student-tutor correspondence in order to provide effective guidance and support in literacy, composing texts, academic writing and secondary education English studies and other areas of academic need. I believe in differentiating my teaching to support the individual to ensure that students are able to see growth in their academic achievement, and to reflect on my practice in order to better my teaching.
