I teach this course, not only because calligraphy is an art, but also because it is a carrier of culture, a training of thinking, and a spiritual practice. In this fast-paced era, calligraphy allows us to slow down, to feel the force and rhythm of each brush stroke, to appreciate the change and beauty of the shade of ink. By studying calligraphy, you will not only master a traditional art, but also develop concentration, aesthetic skills and critical thinking. About the lesson

Dear Recruitment team, Hello! I am a passionate and experienced calligraphy teacher who is committed to passing on traditional Chinese culture through calligraphy teaching, while cultivating students' artistic accomplishment and critical thinking. My curriculum design is systematic, interesting and inspiring, aiming to help students not only master calligraphy techniques, but also deeply understand the cultural connotation and aesthetic value behind calligraphy. ** Course Design ** : My course is divided into three phases: 1. ** Basic skills ** : Starting from holding a pen, handling a pen, structure, systematically learning the basic skills of seal, Li, Kai, line, grass and other writing styles. 2. ** Classical Interpretation ** : Through the analysis of classic works such as "Lanting Preface" and "Manuscripts of the Nephew", students are guided to think about the historical background, cultural significance and the personal style of the artist. 3. Innovative Practice ** : Students are encouraged to integrate their personal feelings and the spirit of The Times into their creations, and try to integrate modern elements into traditional calligraphy to form their own artistic language. ** Skills and Teaching Methods ** : I focus on individualised teaching, using interactive and heuristic teaching.
