About Mithra
Hi! I'm Mithra. I am excited to work with you to help you achieve success in your academic goals. My background is in neuroscience + psychology, and I have been working in the essay writing/proofreading and literature space for about a decade now. Science and writing have significant overlap, and that, in addition to creative writing, is my happy place. I hope to share my joy for writing, editing, and literature in our sessions. I have been a tutor and educational advisor for over a decade and have previously managed my own education company. I look forward to working with you!

I believe that lessons should be catered to the students' needs. For tutoring sessions, I apply neuropsychology to form sessions that are in 15-minute packets to help the brain absorb content optimally and offer interactive practice to solidify what was learned.
When it comes to proofreading & editing sessions, I aim to help students learn the method of editing and work to understand the thought process so that they can ultimately review their own work.
I primarily work with high school and college students.
