I’ve taught for over thirty years, from grades Kindergarten to High School. I’ve used textbooks to support grammar skills, and journaling, to aid in writing and grammar fluency. My teaching techniques are combined with sensory -auditory, visual, and tactile. I enjoy teaching and believe that learning should be creative and fun.
A typical class day would include the “students reading choice”. This involves the student to choose between a daily trivia card, to read out loud, a newspaper article, or an excerpt from our class literature book.
We’d then have a class discussion.
