About Jamie
I have B.S. in Chemistry, and have completed extensive coursework in a variety of subjects within the natural sciences, including--in addition to organic, inorganic, and general chemistry--biology, biochemistry, and physics, as a number of special topics. I won a biology student of the year award in a small state college, competed on a state level in the math Olympics, and lectured on advanced topics in mathematical physics, chemistry, and biochemistry.
I have also worked for several years as an academic editor (editor of academic manuscripts), and as a math and science tutor for over 15 years, having received (by and large) top reviews and ratings from (around 8 to 9 out of 10) students over the years.

I get a feel for where a student is, where they want to be, and how long they have to get there. I focus on making progress at an appropriate pace, remaining aware of any time constraints they may have in terms of course requirements, and so on. I am always available, highly communicative, and dedicated, willing to put extra time in for my students, and feeling directly responsible for their potential successes or failures.
