About Liudmyla

RUSSIAN (mother tongue)
Since 2018 I have been teaching Russian to Italian, Australian, North American, Canadian, Portuguese students, from different fields: high school, university, office workers, both to improve communication skills and to pass exams, including ТРКИ.

ITALIAN (advanced)
Since 2018 I have been teaching Italian to Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Chinese students, from the age of 11 onwards.
In 2022 I obtained a C1 Advanced CILS Certificate.

ENGLISH (advanced)
Extensive experience has been gained since 2017 by teaching primarily Italian and Russian-speaking students from different fields: university, computer science, entrepreneurship, catering, banking, communication, medicine, crafts, publishing, from the age of 7 onwards.
Certified by the TEFL Academy in 2022 for teaching English as a foreign language.
In 2021 I obtained an IELTS Certificate and in 2023, 2024 a C1 Advanced Cambridge Certificate.

About the lesson

I always try to put myself in the student's shoes to better understand what they really need and prepare the lesson according to requirements and expectations. Also, I am available to answer the questions that go beyond the subject of the lesson. In teaching I use the following technics:

RUSSIAN
Initial introduction to common Russian terms for the construction of simple sentences and later more complex ones.
Image-supported activities to accelerate the assimilation of the material from the previous lesson.
Translation of sentences, experience-based questions, imaginary situations.
Gradual introduction of grammar points associated with specific topics and their further incorporation into subsequent arguments.
Organization of the material in a coherent way to avoid confusing the student.
Personalized activities aimed at the assimilation of specific rules.
Explanation through similar examples in English or Italian.
Conversation on the studied arguments.
For more experienced students, analysis and synthesis of more complex videos or texts and view of relevant grammar rules.

ITALIAN
Gradual introduction of the topics, with specific grammatical references, in relation to the importance and level of the student.
Initial introduction to common Italian terms for the construction of simple sentences and later more complex ones.
Image-supported activities to accelerate the assimilation of the material from the previous lesson.
Translation of sentences, experience-based questions, imaginary situations.
Explanation through similar examples in English or Russian.
Preparation of additional activities aimed at deepening and consolidating the learned material.
Free conversation on a topic.
In-depth analysis of fundamental elements of grammar, even if not covered in the textbook.

ENGLISH
Image-supported activities for a better understanding as the visual memory is an essential part of learning.
Interesting topics to make the lesson more engaging.
Introduction of some grammar points in the topics that typically contain them.
Tailor-made tasks oriented towards the development of both oral and listening skills.
Activities that will allow the student to consolidate the previous knowledge.
Teaching technics that contain questions/answers, story summary, personal experience sharing on a general topic.
Organization of lessons by selecting appropriate videos, texts and grammar.
A course to choose from: supported by a textbook or a series of lessons on different topics accompanied by carefully selected teaching materials.
Development of passion for learning by creating a friendly and fun atmosphere.
Helpful advice on how to improve studying experience.
