About Adam
Hey, I'm Adam! I just graduated from high school with my IB Diploma and I'm heading to Cal Poly to study Electrical Engineering this fall. I've tutored math for one year now and also served as Class Secretary and varsity lacrosse captain, so I'm used to explaining things clearly and keeping people on track. Math clicked for me once someone took the time to break it down step by step, and that's exactly what I want to help you with! Some of my hobbies are surfing, mixed martial arts, and chess.

I tutor middle and high school math, from pre-algebra through algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus. A typical lesson starts by reviewing homework or recent topics, then we work through practice problems together, breaking things into clear steps until they click. I keep things relaxed but focused, and as a recent high school grad, I get what's actually tricky at this level and how to explain it in a way that makes sense.
