About Dr Brayan

I am a Ph.D. in electrical engineering with 15 years of experience teaching physics and engineering at all levels in public and private institutions. I am a Ph.D. in electrical engineering with experience in teaching physics, math, electrical circuits AC DC, electronics, 3-phase & control system, phasors, RLC, machinery, signal & systems, power systems, power electronics, etc. I have a master's degree in nuclear engineering and two bachelor's degrees, one in physics and the other in electrical engineering. One of my electronics articles published in the IEEE magazine can be consulted on the IEEE Xplore page using my name and title: An Electronic Drive for a Switched Reluctance Motor Using a DSC. About the lesson

My teaching methodology is in the solution of exercises, explained step by step with a focus on objectivity and student interaction. I am very attentive and I always try to approach the contents according to the learning speed of each student. Classes can be taught on Google Meet using image upload tools and a whiteboard for explanations. I always recommend that the student sends me details of what they want to study before starting classes, so that I can prepare and deliver the maximum quality of learning. I have 15 years of experience teaching physics and electrical engineering at all levels.

1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?
Throughout my teaching life, which corresponds to 16 years.
2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).
The topics I teach are all about physics and electrical engineering. The topics I like most are: electrical circuits, power electronics and systems, machine control and automation. I like to teach physics.
3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?
My teaching examples are always focused on connecting theory and practice.
4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?
The main quality to be a good professional is to enjoy what you do so that you can do any activity with pleasure and always feel challenged by it.
5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
The funny thing is that we are always laughing and I try to make that happen during my classes.
6) What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?
I face challenges all the time during classes with complex things that students bring to me and that is what motivates me the most to continue teaching.
7) Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?
I really love economics topics in the financial market and theater topics.

I am a teacher who really enjoys teaching complex content as a form of challenge. I will always be looking for different and innovative ways to improve the quality of education around the world.
