About Mat
I am a friendly, experienced tutor with 20 years of professional industry experience making and releasing music, producing, touring and working in studios.
As well as releasing my own music, i work as a studio engineer, DJ and mix engineer. I have worked as a guitar tutor in schools previously, but now i teach exclusively music production and technology for a number of universities and music schools.
My students have gone onto have their tracks signed to well established record labels, have had their tracks played on BBC Radio 1, and played at festivals by contemporary DJs.

Hi, I'm Mat, a London based Electronic music producer, studio engineer, DJ and music technology lecturer with a a masters level qualification in music technology.
My studio is situated in Kings Cross where i teach, or alternatively via Zoom (or a mixture).
I offer a flexible, affordable and personable approach to music production and development. Whether you are looking for an experience professional to help finish and improve your tracks, up skill on your own music production techniques, or start your musical journey I will be more than happy to facilitate and assist.
My lessons typically range from 2 hour sessions upwards, with resources, progress reports and exercises provided to work on in between sessions. My aim is to help you the student achieve your goal, whilst developing your own skills throughout each session.
