Hello! I love teaching and enjoy working with general education as well as special education students. I have 12 years experience teaching elementary and middle school math. I typically start a lesson with a quick review/warmup on what we are currently learning/have previously discussed to continue building on concepts previously learned. After the warmup, we continue into the new lesson with examples to follow. Before the end of the session I like to give a quick "exit ticket" to assess the topics learned in that session. It's important to keep track of what is retained. While I am open to working with 1-8th grade students, my specialty has been with grades 4-8.
