About Honeylette
My first job was an after-school tutor. I have also worked in daycare and Head Start. My Master's degree is in Education. I have worked in various elementary schools with students of different backgrounds. I am a certified teacher in two states and also have full endorsements in Gifted Education and English as a Second Language.

I have been in education for 15+ years. In that time, I have learned how to work with different types of learning styles. I tend to follow the "I do, we do, you do" type of lesson. I model an example of the topic at hand, we do one together, then the student works on the topic independently. I provide scaffolding and support as needed. Because of the years of experience I have, I am able to pull from the experience and help the student in that moment to address any misunderstandings or misconceptions. These lessons are aimed toward elementary level students.
