About Kate
I’m Kate and I’m currently an undergraduate student studying law at Curtin University! I have completed AMEB grade 1 through to grade 8, and achieved the prestigious AmusA Diploma in Piano in 2021. I have also achieved AMEB Grade 5 Theory. I started learning the piano when I was 5 years old and I understand that this journey is not always smooth-sailing but I am excited about channelling my passion and using my skills to help your kids excel in this challenging yet rewarding journey!

I grew up learning piano under the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) music grading system and I would love to help and journey with kids to transform their passion into tangible and incredible achievements, all while ensuring a positive learning environment! But if what you're looking for is to learn songs you love and be able to flaunt your skills in front of family and friends then I can certainly help with that too!
I have been a piano teacher for 4 years now and have sent numerous students to sit their AMEB piano exams, all having obtained fantastic results! There is no better feeling than to see my students improve and go from thinking that "it's too hard" to "Wow, I can't believe I was able to do that!"
