About Rashni
After being a teacher of English and a lecturer of English for nearly a decade, I have realized that teaching is my passion, and I have constantly upgraded my educational and professional qualifications. I am currently reading for an MA in TESOL at Flinders University in South Australia and hold a Post graduate diploma in TESL, an MA in Linguistics, and a BA in English. I am especially interested in TESOL; therefore, I wish to pursue my future career in relation to TESOL and ESL teaching in Australia.

As an ELICOS and ESL Teacher, I teach ESP, General English, and Basic Grammar concepts and four main language skills including “Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking”. I mark and evaluate the students’ quizzes and tests. I teach adults learners while having a good rapport with them. I in cooperate Communicative Language Teaching and Task Based Language Teaching into my teaching practice. I teach 4-hour classes and basically, I used to teach Beginners, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate students. I was an ELICOS teacher in Adelaide, Australia and have more than 8 years’ experience as a English lecturer in state universities in Sri Lanka. I possess MA TESOL (Reading) at Flinders University, TESL (Postgraduate Dip.), MA Linguistics, BA English.
