About Sharon
I am an experienced educator with over 20 years in education, having worked across a wide range of schools and settings. I have held senior leadership roles as an Assistant Head Teacher, worked as an examiner, and successfully owned and run a tuition centre, giving me a deep understanding of how students achieve success both inside and outside the classroom. I am also a parent of two boys, both of whom successfully passed the 11+ and gained entry into private schools, giving me both personal and professional insight into the selective school journey. Following the 11+ journey, I made the decision to step away from full-time teaching to set up my own tuition centre and to work with schools on a consultancy basis, supporting teaching and learning, assessment, and curriculum improvement. This allows me to focus on delivering highly targeted, high-impact support to students. I specialise in GCSE Business Studies and Computer Science, and A-Level Business and Computer Science. I have a 90% 11+ pass rate, and my GCSE and A-Level students typically make at least two levels of progress, reflecting my structured, exam-focused approach.
