I am an international award winning harpist committed to bringing high quality music tuition and encouraging a deep interest in music for all.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach classical harp and piano.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
First Class Bachelor of Music (Honours)
- How much do you charge?
My standard rate is £40 per hour and £25 for half an hour. If required to travel to the student I will charge for the cost of my journey.
- Where do you teach?
I teach from home in South Woodford but I am also happy to travel to students' homes in North East London and nearby but within an 8 mile radius. Exceptions will however be considered on a case by case basis.
- When are you available?
Week day evenings are generally best but my schedule changes regularly due to rehearsals and concerts so I need to be flexible.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages and beginners to advanced level.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I am happy to prepare students for ABRSM exams but I also like to tailor musical aims, endeavours and repertoire choices to the needs and wishes of each student.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I am happy to tutor via Skype, in which case I always work from my own instrument at home as well as watching and working with the student on their instrument as this enables me to demonstrate and explain much more clearly.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
If you're looking for harp or piano lessons in a relaxed, encouraging and open-minded environment, then look no further.
