About Ella
Hi! I'm Ella, a high school student aspiring to become a mechatronics engineer. I enjoy Mathematics and Physics, and I love helping other students understand topics that might seem difficult at first.
I tutor Mathematics and Physics, mainly for younger and secondary-school students. My goal isn't just to help you get the right answer, but to help you understand how to get there. I’m patient, encourage questions, and will explain things in different ways if something doesn't make sense the first time.
I’m teaching because I genuinely care about making an impact and helping students become more confident in subjects they may struggle with. I want each lesson to be a comfortable space where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn from them.

My main aim is to ensure the student understands and can apply the knowledge from the lessons learnt. I plan to achieve this by creating a conversational styled environment for the student and utilising scientifically proven methods like active recall and spaced repetition.
A lesson lasts for an hour but can be adjusted based on the needs of the student and what we're working on.
I’m currently a secondary school student and I’ve spent a lot of time studying Mathematics and other science-related subjects. Plus, I currently tutor three students at school.
I’m mainly looking to teach primary students and early secondary school students, especially beginners or anyone who wants extra help understanding a topic. I’ll adjust the pace depending on what the student already knows and what they want to improve.
