  • 1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

    1. When I was a student and when my teachers used to teach me subjects I always had that instinct inside me that someday I also wanted to teach someone in a way that it becomes easy for that student to look at the subject rather than looking at as a burden of work or a responsibility. And private tutoring provided 1 to 1 platform for the teacher and the student to communicate with each other. It gives the tutor an opportunity to focus completely on the needs and teaching techniques for a single student. I chose my medical studies as a priority but teaching was always a passion of mine and during my college days I started to look after both of them my studies as well as my passion.
  • 2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

    2. The subjects which I teach are basically related to the fields of science that includes physics, chemistry and biology and the most important one that is mathematics. Apart from them I also teach English. All of the mentioned subjects, biology, maths and chemistry are my expertise fields. In maths I am very fond of equations, algebra and trigonometric concepts. In chemistry I have always liked organic chemistry and chemical bonding chapters a lot. English and physics too are good but they stand after the 3 main stream subjects of mine.
  • 3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

    3. Yeah. I think everyone of us has one or the another role model in our lives. In childhood, I had some teachers who has major impact on my career, academics , results and mostly on the way I deal with problems in my life. A tutor is not only the person who teaches you the subject interestingly but according to me a tutor is also a person who let's a student open up himself and to look on different dimensions of his life. How a student can even deal with a hard exam on calmly and steadily that's when the part of a role model comes.
  • 4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

    4. To be a good tutor requires nothing more but just dedication and discipline. Dedication to our work, to the subject and to the student is all that we need. Teaching is a very noble profession. Teaching just not means fetching money but it also means getting the blessing and good wishes from the parents or the guardians. If we can give a small help to shape someone's future than universe will help us in ways that we might not know. A tutor who can understand the students who knows the strengths and weakness of the student and makes them realize that and shape them into a better person both academically and non academically is what makes a good tutor.
  • 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

    5. The most reliable story which I can share for this interview is this one. So basically I was in grade 10 and after schools I had my tuitions in the evening time and that was like a coaching class session there was only one teacher who taught us major subjects like science, mathematics, english and social science. The point was that this teacher he wasn't able to walk he was physically disabled from childhood. He had the dream of being a doctor but right now he is in profession of teacher. But that man the teachings that he gave me in my life that changed my view completely. His goal was not just to make us study or to cope up with exams but to make me prepare for the ultimate challenges of life that were about to come in my career. He made us realize the importance of work, the respect that we should gain up in the society, to even tackle with the failures, not to get blind in the success, and to continue walking even when we think that we are about to give up. This qualities are just enough to make someone realize that he has been a good tutor not just in subject but in life of the student.
  • 6) What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or are still facing in your subject?

    6. Initially I wasn't able to understand that if the students need to understand only the theory or relevant questions or what are there specific needs. But with time when I got to interact with different students of different regions I understood the pattern of study for them. I understood their language and their way of expressing. And still till date I am trying to improve myself by asking for their reviews and recommendations. By asking about their personal feedback what different techniques or materials I can opt up to meet their requirements and to make the teaching more fun and loving to them.
  • 7) Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

    7. In general teaching has always been my passion and it will always remain my passion. Apart from teaching i am interested in music I am a guitarist by myself and also likes to sing. Also I am interested in sports like cricket and badminton. But teaching has always peaked for being my passion. All the subjects which I teach today are the subjects which I have put up a lot of effort when I was studying in my school days. The endless practise of days and nights and focusing on the weaker topics to make the subjects stronger as a whole to clear the entrance exams to achieve admission in one of the top universities. All of this hardwork is a effort that I have put up to be at the position where I am today.
  • 8) What makes you a Superprof (besides answering these interview questions)?

    8. Besides this interview, I think that my students are the ones who have made me superprof. I was just a normal tutor when I started to teach but it's there support and cooperation towards me that today I have reached the level of superprof. And I hope that I can maintain the trust and dignity of the Students and the parents so the level I have reached now is what I can continue to maintain in future. Apart from students and parents, the team of superprof australia has also helped me whenever I tried to reach them. From a tutor to a superprof it was not a journey which I did alone there was an immense support from my family and from my students. With this I give a conclusion to my interview.
