About Emma

I was determined to have had my own business as soon as I graduated from The Royal College of Art in 2004. Clients are BALMAIN, The Kardashian's, Alicia Keys, H&M (8 years), Giorgio Armani, Vanity Fair, Lindex, McQ, X-Factor, Kurt Geiger, Uniqlo, The Kardashians, Natalie Portman, Daniel Craig, George Clooney, Lady Gaga, Disney, JWT, River Island, Matthew Williamson, Pucci, Kate Spade and Adidas. High profile clients that I tutor are from countries such as Saudi Arabia, China and Russia. Travelling to these countries is a regular part of my job.

About the lesson

Arty Classes is a one-stop shop for creative students in Art, fashion and Textiles. We are passionate about bringing out the best in our students, nurturing their talents individually and as well as in groups. We love 'Arty Classes' and it shows in our students' results and career development. We understand that you may need 'secret help', and no-one needs to know that you have your very own Arty Classes mentor. We always have weird and wonderful requests! We love them and never say no! Requests have included: Human Spirograph classes, a paint fight to decorate a room in a hotel, sewing with eye-watering clear-cut diamonds and stones that were family heirlooms onto a dress for a socialite and couture underwear shopping in Paris for a week! Popular classes include: Portfolio preparation Emergency Creative Support Interview preparation and techniques (includes confidence building) Fashion Design Sketchbooks Dressmaking/Pattern Cutting Spec sheets Knitting/Stitching/weaving Fashion Illustration Final garments Mood boards CAD Business start-ups and adult training The list is endless, so, put your request into your very own secret Arty Classes mentor and be the best!
