I am a high school student who will be attending Emory University in the fall. I am a swimmer and have given private swimming lessons for 2-3 years. I have taught students of all ages from 4-15, and some older. Most of the students I have taught have become an expertise at what they do. The same applies to math

My teaching method is to go over the basics, and then dig into specifics. I like to end of class with questions about an assignment or general questions. As a student, I understand that some concepts are confusing and tricky to understand, so I am willing to take time to make sure the student understands what is being taught.
