About Cora

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and a Master of Arts in French Linguistics. During the past 7 years, I have worked with learners from different backgrounds who wanted to improve their confidence and fluency in French. My passion for the language began through literature, cultural exploration, and meaningful interactions with French-speaking communities. Teaching allows me to share that enthusiasm while helping students achieve important goals. Supporting learners on their language journey remains highly rewarding.

My teaching philosophy emphasizes communication, encouragement, and adaptability. I believe students learn most effectively when they actively engage with meaningful language rather than relying only on memorization. Lessons are personalized to individual needs while maintaining a clear path toward improvement. Students receive guidance that helps them develop confidence through consistent practice. This creates a welcoming and productive learning environment.

Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, studying cultural history, and exploring language education techniques. These interests enrich my lessons and help keep learning interesting. Watching students gain confidence and communicate successfully is deeply satisfying. I strive to make every lesson practical and enjoyable. My goal is to help learners use French with confidence and ease.

About the lesson

My French lessons focus on helping students use the language confidently in everyday situations. Learning takes place through listening activities, speaking exercises, vocabulary development, pronunciation practice, verb conjugation training, sentence-building tasks, and practical communication exercises. I use a variety of audio materials and interactive activities that make lessons engaging and realistic. Students are encouraged to actively use French from the beginning rather than simply studying grammar rules. This helps language skills develop naturally and effectively.

Lessons are adapted to each student's goals and interests. Some learners want stronger communication skills for travel and daily life, while others enjoy learning French as a hobby and cultural interest. Activities may include conversation practice, role-playing situations, listening comprehension exercises, reading tasks, and idiomatic language exploration. Learners receive clear explanations and supportive feedback that help them improve consistently. This creates an environment where confidence grows alongside language ability.

My goal is to help students feel comfortable communicating in French across a variety of situations.
