About Phoebe
As a current A-level student studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Computer Science, I bring both a strong academic foundation (A*A*AA at A-level and 6 9s in my 12 GCSEs) and a fresh understanding of the curriculum. I’m organised, friendly, and patient, and I take pride in seeing my students grow in confidence. I understand how stressful school and exams can be, so I always aim to make my lessons encouraging and positive. I tutor Maths, Physics, and Computer Science for GCSE students, and Maths and Science for KS3, with a particular focus on building confidence and problem-solving skills. My approach to tutoring is supportive and structured. I start by identifying gaps in understanding and tailoring each lesson to the student’s individual needs—whether that’s going over classwork, reviewing exam-style questions to build exam technique, or breaking down tricky topics into manageable chunks. I always aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Lessons are typically 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the student’s schedule and needs. I currently mentor younger students at my school in weekly 30-minute maths sessions, so I’m experienced in explaining concepts clearly and helping students improve over time. My lessons are ideal for KS3 and GCSE students looking to strengthen their understanding, prepare for exams, or boost their confidence in maths and science subjects.
