About Temilola
I am currently a student at the University of Cambridge studying Economics. I have been tutoring for almost 4 years and have taught around 10 students from the ages of 11-18 in subjects ranging from IB Chemistry to 11+ Vernal reasoning.
My students have often improved considerably. An IB Chemistry student I taught moved from a level 4 to level 6 in approximately 3 months. I also home schooled an excluded student who performed 2-3 grades above his predicted grade in all subjects I provided tuition for (Mathematics IGCSE & Double Science IGCSE). I also provided coaching to two girls to enter a selective boarding school, both of whom gained admission.
My own academic record consists of 12 GCSEs 9 graded at an A*(including Mathematics, English and Science) and the remaining 3 at grade A. I also hold 5 A Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Economics, all graded at A*.

I am a young and engaging tutor in Mathematics, Chemistry and Economics at GCSE, IGCSE and A Level. I am a believer that the most limiting factors to students achievement are either their approach to studying or their beliefs about their ability, and not their innate ability to improve. This founds the optimism I have in regard to the future attainment of all of my students. I often take a relaxed approach as this tends to encourage students to look forward to lessons and subsequently learn more from them.
I have developed an incredibly effective style of using past examination papers to guide lessons and see what students do not understand. We then cover any identified topics thoroughly before returning to the question that posed the difficulty and then using other exam questions to test the students recall and understanding. This method has proven highly effective as it not only identifies weaknesses but allows students to learn material and directly apply it to questions they are likely to face in final examinations.
