About Foni
I have 16 years of tutoring experience and feel proud to have helped around 300-350 High School and College students learn and improve their Guitar skills. Teaching so many students has been a major milestone in my career and has given me valuable experience in understanding different learning styles, personalities, and musical goals.
My passion for education comes from seeing students discover that they are capable of achieving more than they expected. I believe every learner deserves patience, encouragement, and clear guidance. My aim is to make Guitar lessons simple and enjoyable while giving students the skills they need for long-term growth.
I begin by understanding each student's experience and goals. A beginner may need support with basic chords, finger placement, rhythm, and strumming, while a more experienced student may want to improve scales, technique, music theory, song arrangements, or performance skills. I adjust my teaching according to these needs.
I believe practical learning is one of the best ways to understand Guitar. I combine explanations with demonstrations, guided practice, and song-based activities. Students are encouraged to apply new skills instead of simply memorizing them. I also invite them to explore different styles of music so they can discover what they enjoy most.
One of my proudest achievements has been teaching 300-350 students in 16 years. This experience has helped me become more patient and flexible as a tutor. It has also taught me that every student has a different path to success.
I encourage students to set achievable goals and recognize their progress. Learning an instrument requires regular practice, and there may be moments when progress feels slow. I help students stay motivated by focusing on small improvements and reminding them that every practice session contributes to their growth.
My goal is to make students feel confident with their Guitar and excited about learning. I want them to develop musical skills along with concentration, creativity, discipline, and self-expression.
I consider every student's progress a success. I am grateful for the opportunity to teach so many learners and look forward to continuing my journey as an educator who inspires students through music.

My approach to Guitar teaching focuses on building a strong foundation and developing practical musical skills. I believe good Guitar learning should combine technique, music understanding, creativity, and regular communication between teacher and student.
I first understand the student's experience, interests, goals, and learning preferences. Communication allows me to identify their strengths and difficulties. I explain every concept clearly and encourage students to ask questions whenever they need help.
I use adaptation to learning styles throughout my lessons. Depending on the learner, I may use visual demonstrations, chord charts, audio examples, written notes, repetition, or guided playing. I adjust my lessons so that students can learn at a comfortable and effective pace.
I include real-life examples and case studies to show how Guitar skills are used outside the classroom. Students learn how chords and rhythm work in songs, how scales can support improvisation, how picking techniques improve playing, and how guitarists work with singers or other musicians.
My lessons can cover guitar basics, chords, scales, strumming, rhythm guitar, fingerstyle, picking, lead guitar, improvisation, music theory, ear training, songwriting, and performance skills. Related subjects include Music Theory, Songwriting, Ear Training, Rhythm, Music Appreciation, Basic Keyboard Skills, and Music Performance.
I encourage students to build a regular practice routine with clear and achievable goals. Instead of focusing only on mistakes, I give constructive feedback and show students practical ways to improve.
My aim is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. I want every student to develop strong Guitar skills, musical confidence, creativity, and the ability to enjoy music independently.
