About Aastha
Hi there! My name is Aastha, and I am a high-achieving high school student based in Christchurch. I have always loved learning, and I am passionate about helping younger students find that same excitement in their schoolwork. Because I am currently in school myself, I understand the pressure and challenges that students face today, making me a highly relatable and approachable peer mentor.
Outside of my own academic studies, I enjoy volunteering and helping others succeed. I pride myself on being patient, organized, and encouraging. My goal as a tutor is not just to help kids finish their homework, but to build their long-term confidence so they can feel proud of their progress in the classroom.

Hi, I’m Aastha! As a high-achieving student, I know exactly what it takes to understand tricky school topics. My teaching methodology focuses on patience, engagement, and building real confidence. I break down complex concepts into simple, bite-sized steps using fun, visual examples and interactive problem-solving.
A typical lesson lasts 45 to 60 minutes. This is the perfect length to keep younger students focused without overwhelming them. We start with a quick review of schoolwork, dive into the main topic using interactive exercises, and finish with a rewarding game or recap.
While I am a younger tutor, my top school marks and current experience in the education system give me a fresh, relatable perspective. I understand the modern curriculum and know how to explain things in a way that makes sense to peers.
These lessons are specially designed for primary and intermediate school students (ages 5 to 13) who need an extra boost, after-school homework help, or a boost in confidence with their daily learning.
