About Averie
Hi! I’m Averie, and I am an 8th/9th grade student who loves math. I consistently get top marks in my math classes, and because I just finished middle school math myself, the concepts are still very fresh in my mind.
I know that math can sometimes feel frustrating or overwhelming. My goal is to help younger students build up their confidence and find that "aha!" moment when a tough topic finally clicks. Outside of school, I play basketball full-time and do track on the side. But I have played all the exciting sports you can think of, which has taught me a lot about patience and staying focused.

For Grades 1–3: I keep things fun and visual, focusing on the basics like addition, subtraction, telling time, and simple multiplication tables.
For Grades 4–5: We focus on building strong habits with long division, fractions, decimals, and word problems.
For Grades 6–7: I help students transition into middle school math, covering topics like negative numbers, fractions/percentages, and introductory algebra.
