I engaged and competed in swimming during my youth and adolescence as well as obtaining my Surf Life Saving Certificate in 2014. I have a lot of knowledge of the sport including correct technique.

About Jane
I started swim training when I was three years old and competed in the sport until was around 15 years of age. As well as this, I also competed for Redhead Surf Life saving club from ages 9-17 years and obtained my surf rescue certificate in 2014. I have great knowledge of the sport and have also coached a number of other sports such as hockey with the Hunter Academy of Sport which has enabled me to better understand how to train adolescent athletes.

Teaching the correct techniques of the four main strokes and mixing up lessons that target working up fitness and capability of different strokes. Lesson would consist of warm up, targeted longer middle session and cool down and would vary in terms of distance, long distance or sprint training. This would also include using kick boards to target strength in the legs and pool bouys for focusing on arm strength and techniques. Sessions targeted towards ages 7-14 years and will vary in difficulty based on age, individual experience/strengths and personal goals of the individual (fitness verses training to compete).
